Facts about New Zealand
Hi everyone, this blog tells you 5 facts about New Zealand. It was pretty fun researching about the 5th fact, it's pretty interestring and mind blowing to me. I found it challanging to write about the first 3 facts, I usually write more if I'm more fond of the fact. I had to pick 3 facts about NZ from a website because of the summer learning journy activitys. The other 2 facts were chosen by me. Hope you enjoy the slide.

Hi Mika! It's me Mia and I am also doing the summer learning journey! Wow! I didn't know any of those facts, they are the most, let's see... (looks through thesaurus) Amazing, spectacular, peculiar and the most exotcic! I did not know about New Caledonia, such an extraordinary continent. How long did it take for you to make the slide? (I know you take long!)
ReplyDeleteAlso, (sorry, summer learning journey people I need to tell Mika this!) check your email and start making your art!
I am looking forward to your posts!
Mia :D
Hi Mia!
DeleteYes, it did take me a couple of days to make this. It's because we are now focusing on fitness for 2019 so we're running everyday and swimming everyday so my days are more busy. By the way, are you free to have a play date?

Maybe, I'm not quite sure, but this is not the appropriate place to be talking! So I'll send you an email (to your home account).
DeleteBye! Mia
Very interesting facts Mika. I like this short, punchy and interesting slide a lot. I didn't know NZ was once joined onto New Calidonia. Or maybe I did know and I forgot!
ReplyDeleteMorena Mika,
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see you getting into the Summer Learning Journey, ka pai!
I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and have been enjoying your holidays. Sounds like you are going to be very fit by the time you get back to school with all the running it sounds like you've been doing.
You have done a fantastic job on your slide show and have also included very detailed links to where you got your information which is fantastic, well done you!
Wow, I did not know we were a "Sunken Continent"! That is such a cool fact. It's such a shame that so many pests were introduced to our lands, devastating our native bird wildlife. Can you think of some ways we could help to repopulate our bird population in New Zealand?
I hope to see some more SLJ blog posts from you soon!
Until next time, happy blogging. :)
