Hi everyone, today I will be talking about my holiday! How is your holiday? I had a GREAT holiday. I had lots of fun playing with Hana, Mum, and Dad.
So as usual, my family went to Arthur's pass. We drove down to Klondyke and it took a very very very long time to get there. I mean a very long time. When we finally got there, we drove in to see where we’re going to camp.
There were too many people in the camping ground so decided to leave to another place. It was a shame because my sister Hana and me wanted to go rock hunting. Talking about hunting, Dad likes hunting deer. But he didn't catch anything this season. If you can’t hunt deer, hunt for rocks! Surprisingly, we didn’t get any deer or rocks. This shows how hopeless we are at hunting things.
So because there were people camping near the area, we went to plan B. Camping at the Hawdon. So as we drove down to the Hawdon, we saw something strange… Young viewers, skip to the next sentence, I saw a man urinating off the bridge. (Sigh) Well, I guess that if you have smart people, you’ve got to have the not so smart ones. I’m changing the subject.
So as Dad drives the car trying to find a camping spot, I and Hana chatted quietly about everything related to Minecraft. When dad found a place to camp, Mum and Dad set up camp while Hana and I run around. I almost forgot I saw something else strange. No, it's not like the other strange that I saw. The thing is that part of the Waimakariri is all dried up! And Dad said this never happens. We found this out when we were walking to a hut. I almost died because of dehydration. Well, at least it felt like I was dying.
That's about it, we did stay for 5 more days but for the other 5 days, we just did some hiking, relaxing, swimming and playing card games. Please comment and give me feedback and some thoughts about this. Thanks for reading my post and I hope I will see you later.
