May the Fourth Be With You...

Today is Star wars mufti, I didn't dress up as anything but my Mum made a Princess Leia hairstyle. We made these Star Wars characters at Maths time. You know those 3d paper cubes that you can make, it's like that but more complicated. Here's the sheet I used.

Making the Star Wars characters was lots of fun because putting the pieces felt happy in a way. Maybe it's because it's almost finished and you put a lot of work into it. Oh ya and when we were transitioning to Maths, Mr Spragg put on some Star Wars music for the signal. I thought I should throw that in because I think it's funny in a way. If you what to see the person or alien competed (sorry, I don't know her name) here a photo.
May the Fourth be with you.

The Very Very Last Chapter of There's a girl in the Boy's Bathroom

At school, we did some activities based on a book called "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom". I
recommend you to read it. Anyway one of the activities was making another chapter in the book. This is
about Carla and Bradley in a restaurant together. To make this less confusing, I will tell you some highlight
of There's a Boy in the Girls Bathroom.

It's about a stubborn boy called Bradley. He was having trouble in school because he doesn't pay

attention the school hired a counselor called Carla. After spending some time with Carla, he got better.
But when Carla had a meeting with the parents, she had to leave because the parents don't like her. Later
on in the story Bradley goes to someone birthday with his new friend Jeff. Ok that's all. Now for the extra
chapter. (Woo! YAY! Woo!)

After a day of school, Bradley sat on his bed doing his homework. “Bradley!” Said Bradley's Mum.

“What is it Mum?” Bradley said hoping that he didn’t do anything wrong. “Someone sent you a letter.”
As Bradley’s Mum came up the stairs to his bedroom. Bradley quickly jumped out of bed. “Here you go”
said Bradley’s Mum while slowly passed Bradley his letter. Bradley opened his letter while thoughts
came in his head who sent him the letter. It said.

Dear Bradley.

Thank You for giving me Ronnie the Rabbit. I heard that a new restaurant called “The Wobbly Kea”
has opened today. I was thinking if you would want to go today or tomorrow.  I can pay if you want
to as well, maybe we can meet at 12:00. I would love it if you talk about how well your work is.
See you soon.

Love Carla.

Bradley’s jaw dropped. “What is it?” Bradley moved his mouth, but no sound came out. Bradleys mum
looked at the letter. “Bradley, I will go and find your finest clothes. Go and show dad the letter. Bradley
quickly ran down the stairs.

“Dad look, Carla sent a letter about going to a restaurant.” Said Bradley to his dad across the room.
“Who is Carla?” Bradley’s Dad said confused. Bradley forgot that Dad doesn't know who Clara is.
“The counselor.” Bradley said. “Ok I will get ready, what time are we going? Asked Bradley’s Dad.
“12:00” Bradley replied. “We need to hurry! It’s 11:53. Bradley quickly ran up the stairs meeting his
Mom holding a fine suit of black. “Quickly, put it on.” Bradley took his blue shirt and ripped jeans off.
He put on his fine cloths and stratened his bright red tie. “Time to go!” Said his Dad Bradley jumped
into the car. Claudia’s dress made her look like a disney princess.

After a couple of minutes Bradley jumped out if the car and stood in front of the restaurant. Big letters
read. “The Wobbly Kea”. Bradley breathed out. Opened the door and stepped in.

All that Bradley could hear was people chatting and laughing. Slowly, Bradley stroled pass people looking
for Carla. As Bradley’s family tried to catch up to him, he saw Carla in a bright pink dress. “Hi Bradley,
nice to meet you here.” While she held her hand up waiting for a hand shake. Bradley smiled to her and
sat down. Bradley's family caught up to him. “This is Carla.” Said Bradley proudly. Carla waved at them.
Bradley waited patiently for the waitress as his family sat down.

A skinny and slim woman approached with a pen and a note. She wore a white apron with a pal red shirt
and blue jeans. “What kind of drink do you want?” Asked the waitress politely. Bradley stared at the menu.
There were so many options. “Can I have a chocolate milkshake please?” Bradley’s parents looked a
bit shocked. They might have seen him suddenly do his homework but they never heard bradley say
please.

Bradley’s Dad shok off the shock and said. “Can I have 2 glasses of wine and some sprite please. The
waitress noted everything down and said “Thank you.” “So how is it at school?” Carla asked. “Great!”
Bradley said in excitement. “I learned all about space! The solar system specifically. Mercury is the first
planet and is the hottest planet. Venus is the second planet. Earth is third. Earth is in the goldilocks zone.
If a planet is in the goldilocks zone it can contain water and life. Mars is fourth and... “ “Here is your
chocolate milkshake.” The waitress interrupted passing Bradley a big cup of milkshake. She passed
some wine to his parents and sprite to Claudia. Carla had water. “Now what would you like for lunch?”
She said. “Bradley got a quick glimpse of one of the options reading Fish and Chips.

“Can I have some fish and chips please?” The waitress wrote some notes. Everyone ordered the same
thing. Nothing beats Fish and Chips. “I’m getting an A+ almost everyday.” Bradley said trying to start a
conversation. “Wow, you’ve been doing great since I’ve left.” Said Carla amazed. After the waitress gave
them food and after they ate their food it was time to go. “Will you come back?” Asked Bradley. “I don’t
know.” Said Carla “Time to go Bradley!” Shouted his Dad. Bradley waved goodbye as he jumped in the
car.

A Small Taste of my Story

Hi there, I'm Mika as you probably know by now. I am writing this book about a brave adventurer in medieval times. If you are interested with what I'm writing, here is the first chapter in my story. Please give me some feedback.

Lightning flashes in the sky and thunder roars louder than the creature that's chasing me. The night is pitch black. I look behind me only to see menacing glowing eyes. The moon is peeking through the clouds. The forest’s fog is thick and wet. I suddenly stop. The ground disappears in front of me to reveal a very long drop down to water. I turn around seeing the white eyes coming closer. My heart is beating like drum. I am going to do the unthinkable. I leap into the dark, it feels like an eternity before I land in the water.

It feels like hours before I slowly open my eyes. I look around, torches are dotted around the room, shelves are full of books. I look out the window and see townspeople pushing wheelbarrows and carrying food. “You're awake.” A young woman says as she approaches me. She has an old green dress with a white apron, her hair is a hazel brown and has bright sky blue eyes. She says “My name is Sarah. What is your name?” “My name is Tarlan.” I croak a reply.

I'm an Artist at Aboriginal Art

Today my class are doing aboriginal art! Aboriginal art is a art where you use dots to color in everything, but what make this art special is that this art has been used thousands of years to communicate. Each symbol means something. They are also made to tell stories, here's how my story goes.

The story begins on a bright sunny day. Two dolphins were diving and darting through the waves. Suddenly  a big shadow blocked the light. Up above the ocean’s surface was a man and a woman armed with spears, hunting for dolphins.

The dolphins knew if they didn’t swim fast, they would be dolphin meat.

Diving around, they found some coral to hide, waiting nervously until the man and women left. Happily, they darted through the waves again.
